The BIG 8-0!

My grandmother, Mia, turned 80 last week so my mom's side of the family got together to celebrate. My Mia doesn't meet a stranger & still has all her Puerto Rican sass! I just love how much she truly loves her family and is so proud of all of us. When we all get together there is always lots of teasing, laughing, & fun. We love our Mia!

It's a Bird, It's a Plane...

No, it's SUPER COOPER!!!

Today Cooper's PDO had a Halloween Parade where all of the kids paraded around the gym in their costumes for the families. All of the kids were so cute in their costumes! Cooper has really embraced his "Super Cooper" alter ego. After I got him dressed this morning he kept getting on his bed so he could look in his dresser mirror at himself and told me "I flying!"

These two cousin cutie pies (and Aunt Caroline) had fun watching the parade!

Football Season

I'm so far behind on things I want to post about, but I am determined to get caught up this week! Football season is in full swing and we have mostly been watching the games on tv, but we have gone down to Tuscaloosa to tailgate a few times, and my uncle generously gave his AL/FL tickets to us, so Christopher and I were able to have a date to the game! So fun!

Watching football at the Wilsons....though with this many kids there isn't much time for game watching! We love these families!

Weiss Lake

Instead of going to the beach, the Bailey crew went on our annual summer vacation to the Chestnut Bay Resort at Weiss Lake. Since our crew now includes a two year old and two 9 month olds, this was the perfect choice! The resort was a precious neighborhood right on the lake with about 30 houses, 2 pools, a basketball court, 2 playgrounds, an amphitheater, volleyball court, pizza shop, a general store, and paddle boat, jet ski, and boat rentals...all within walking distance! The weather was perfect and we had the best time watching the kiddos enjoy all the fun activities. I even got in a little time laying out at the pool without the kids for the first time all summer. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place or my wonderful in-law family...so I'll let this picture overload do the talking! I hope we go back soon!!!

View of the sunrise from our porch...yes, even though we were on vacation, we saw it every morning!
